For those of you not on Facebook, Apex is a bit under the weather, and is in the hospital (nothing major, but more precautionary measures). Please send a bit of your positive thoughts towards him and say hi!

Am I alone here? Is that it?
Am I the only one who sees.
Maybe we can learn to be just like him.

Wow... sounds like he's on the mend though now, scary stuff. must be they suspected meningitis and that's the reason for the spinal tap. I'm guessing.
Hope he's out of the hospital and recovering at home by now.
Thanks for the update Roni\

Been there, done that - with both the spinal tap and a similar infection some years back that required antibiotics via IV...Originally Posted by RoniMan

those infections can be brutal
years ago i had a broken femur and had a rob in my leg plus multipule screws. when they took the hardware out <large incision fulllength of my hip> i got an infection in there. roaring staph infection and osteomyelitis. Did feel sick, just got really cold on a nice august day which was strange, by the time i got to the hospital temp was 104.5. SPent two weeks in there having four surgeries to drain and clean out the wound, plus was on iv antibotiotics the whole time in addition to another 6 weeks after i got out. Had to wear a waist pack with a pump and an iv bag. They gave my nuclear weapon drugs too. the drugs burned so bad that they had to pull the iv <from my inner arm> and move it to a chest cathater. Doc said if i had waited another hour would have been dead was a pretty nast situation
