Suckage: @ssholes at work

There is this guy I work with who I just can't stand. I want to inflict pain and suffereing on him more than I've ever wanted to hurt anyone. ugh!

first, hes threatened by the fact that i'm a female engineer. he doesn't like the fact that i work here or that i do a good job at what i do.

and he thinks hes knows everything and doesn't take the time to see if hes wrong before he charges off on his stupid rampages. And even when he is wrong, he won't listen to a word you say because hes he only one whose correct. and he carries this stupid wooden baseball bat around the office. i just want to rip the stupid bat out of his hand and pummel him with it. at least i know i'm not the only who feels like that. almost no one else in the office can stand him either.

and its annoying because even when hes wrong he makes me feel like i'm only a foot tall and nothing that i work on even matters.

I hate people like that. He obviously has some sort of psychological problem if he has to carry around a baseball bat. You and your co-workers should hide his bat and replace it with a couple thousand toothpicks.

I don't know what the rules are where you work, but anywhere I have worked, carrying a weapon aorund in the workplace is immediate grounds for termination.
Speak to your supervisor immediately. It doesn't matter if the person plays baseball, they can keep their bat in the car. If you were going to shoot skeet, could you bring in your shotgun?
Tell them that the bat he carries around intimidates you and creates a hostile work envirnment. If action is not taken immediately contact you labor board.
