Ah, Friday. They can try to take it away from you, but they better be well armed and twice as strong, because I'm ornery.
I got plans.
I have to kill some poison ivy and otherwise retard some growth in the yard and mostly, on property that isn't mine, because the city thinks I should take care of the bike path and the land they own, just because I live next to it, though it hasn't bothered to care in 11 years. I also hope to see Captain America.
Sunday though, my wife and many friends and coworkers will be at the Warrior Dash, a 3 mile trek through hell itself. I'm not doing it, not because I'm a pussy, which I totally am, but because I still have a very slowly healing foot thing and I know I'd wreck it. Still, I almost did it anyway, and who knows, still might sneak in if someone bails. I should be used to foot pain by now, right? Mostly though, I'm there to support and take pictures and drive my wife, who is far more mightier then I. Which is how I like it, quite honestly.
