I knew it had rained a bit yesterday, but I guess I was insulated to just what kind of storm it was, because there were a ton of rather large trees down on my short drive home. The whole way, as I'm seeing large oaks shattered and fallen on top of houses and cars, I'm think, "no way my house doesn't look like this or worse," because lets face it, that's usually what happens right after I have some trees removed. They suicide in sympathy.

But I got lucky, I guess, and just had some branches down. Now I'm really worried, because as I write this, there is another large storm outside, and I have a hard time believing I'd get lucky two days in a row.
