HP TouchPad 16GB 9.7" Tablet - $99.99 Shipped Free!

By now you've probably heard that HP has decided to no longer support WebOS, which includes the HP TouchPad. This is a shame since WebOS is one of the more elegant and intuitive mobile device operating systems around.
So why should you even consider getting the HP TouchPad? For starters, they've discounted it to just $99.99 for the 16GB model, which is bonkers because the TouchPad costs $306.16 to make! Check out the prices:
So even at this crazy low price why should you consider the HP TouchPad, which is technically an unsupported product?
- Basic Functions: It will perform the basic functions like emailing, web browsing (with Flash & HTML5 support), contacts, calendars, maps, memos, text assist, VPN
data transfer, photo viewer, movies, Microsoft Exchange, etc. flawlessly.
- Apps: It comes preinstalled with Skype, Facebook, Quickoffice, Google Docs, Adobe Reader, Box.net, iHeartRadio, YouTube.
- Price: In a year or two when it's outlived it's usefulness, the $99 would be less than the depreciation of an Android Tablet or iPad.
- Hardware: The internals are actually pretty decent with a 9.7" IPS screen (same as the iPad) and a Dual Core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060.
Anyhow, I think this is a GREAT option if you want something extremely inexpensive and portable and can live without an app store!
