Well, on the one hand, I was glad for the long weekend.
On the other hand, it went pear shaped on me at times.
Friday night I went out and bought a HD6870 videocard, to replace my aging and flaky 4890. That went well.
Saturday I had plans to do stuff outside, but the weather was kind of meh and the girls were in the mindset of cleaning out the basement, so I pretty much just took turns carrying out heavy things for bringing to the recycling center or to good will. More has to go yet, but the heavy stuff is gone. Which is part of the problem because I hurt my shoulder lifting those things.
So, I tried to cut some stuff down outside on Sunday, which went ok but my shoulder was not really happy with that, so I helped a bit downstairs but mostly just ran errands. Also, discovered someone hacked my Windows Live account and charged 140 bucks worth of Xbox Live points to me. Luckily, because I was not a gold member, that's all they managed to do before I caught it. Changed passwords, called Microsoft, and hopefully...SOMEDAY...I'll have my money back. To say that put a damper on my day is being a little mild.
Monday, of course, was the mad dash to enjoy the last day before school starts, with mixed results.
I dunno, my weekend needs a weekend.
