    what you get from Santa 2011

    I thought it be a good time to start a new thead.(update as you find out)
    as far I know right now a assortment of home made cookies from a neighbor.
    Tonight Christmas eve - a new Captains seat for my pontoon boat(this is very sweet and there not cheap,pack of underwear,box of candy,Ipod dock to use on the boat.
    Tomorrow Christmas and I'll post what i get then.
    today a $25 gas card that come in handy !
    and forgot about a new Sony stereo receiver -
    ya I'm spoiled.
    daughter got me a couple of items she TAKING BACK TO EXCHANGE -HER AND THE WIFE DIDN'T COMMUTATE.
    a wallet -i have some spairs on a drawer.and a ipod docking station (the wife got me one to)

    Well, my work gave a pretty nice bonus this year (1.25 months salary). I applied a big chunk toward paying down my home equity line (from the new furnace/AC that I had to buy last summer). But I did buy a (used) snow blower (been without one for a few years).
    stay low... keep moving...

    Nice. I miss having good bonuses.

    I think that part is still run like it always was and is up to the individual manager. And since my manager is family, he's always trying to prove that he deserves the job he has by runnign a "tight ship". Im fairly confident that people well below my pay grade by default get a bigger bonus check than I do, simply by being in a different department.
    Am I alone here? Is that it?
    Am I the only one who sees.

    I can't forget the amazing weekend with the family. Went to my father's place on Christmas Eve, then my brother, his wife & I spent Christmas Day here at home.

    Oh, and some awesome pumpkin cheesecake with cream cheese icing, with caramel & chocolate drizzle on top. My brother bought it for him and his wife, but I decided to try a bit to see if I now like cheesecake. Apparently, I do!

    My wife just told me today that she was able to get two pairs of tickets to Blackhawks games (one against the Canucks and one against the Blues - both great rivalries) in late March. I'll go with each of my 2 sons (one each game). These are from a season ticket holder and are supposed to be pretty decent seats.

    sounds like you need to switch to another department.
