Thread: WinXP boot screen trouble

  1. #1
I've recently installed Windows XP and it frozed while doing so. So i did another install and now i have 3 of the OS boot to choose from (one being WinME).

How would i removed the unsuccessful Windows XP installation from the OS boot select screen so that only the WinME and the successful installation of WinXP is displayed?

    ----------------

    Thanks

All you have to do is edit the boot.ini file in the root of C:\ & remove the bad XP boot line.

I got XP to install OK on one of my systems. It's got a nice UI, but for whatever reason it's slow as hell. Hopefully it's just a beta issue.... Does yours seem slow?
