it's winter here, just a bit colder than cruelpupet.
but we have had an unusually mild one and A LOT, i mean A LOT less snow. it's due to a natural weather pattern from what i've seen reported.
yea, we typically get tons of snow here in northern MN, however we have been bare all winter long. La Nina is pushing all the snow north, way north Alaska is getting killed this winter. They got like 60 ft of snow up there, Pretty serious issues because of it. Id just like some consistent weather. We had sevral days in the high 40s low 50s, in January. Itll be 35-40 one day the next day 10 below, the net day back to 35. The constantly shifting weather is playing hell on my bad knee. Also, the boy and I have not been out playing hockeyvthis year. The ice is in such bad shape from the freezing and thawing. Yesterday was 38 here, last night it snowed and we are supposed to be hitting 40 again today.

Loving this mild winter so far, just a small bit of shoveling so far and a relatively low oil bill. Still waiting for the new gas boiler to be installed...should be any day now.
