What's 2012 mean to you?

I got thinking about this today because a guy I work with is expecting a second child next month. He also just got promoted to a different department and will be leaving us soon. It seems like 2012 is going to be a big year for him and I'm glad to see all that happen to such a nice guy. I really wish him the best and I think that's coming to him soon.

So what're you looking forward to in the new year? I don't necessarily mean resolutions or anything like that. I mean, what do you realistically or hopefully see coming up for yourself in 2012? How do you hope to be better off in 11 months from now, what're you looking forward to? Any big plans, big events on the horizon?

For myself, I'm looking forward to kicking @ss at my new job. I've been there just long enough to get up to speed, get my legs under me, and start picking up momentum. I'M (about to be) THE JUGGERNAUT, B|TCH!!

Also looking forward to getting out more, being social, would like to meet a nice new lady friend. Maybe I should give OkCupid another shot. *shrug*

2012 means a new start to me....... We have been struggling lately. I got laid off, and have been really struggling to find work. The local economy is really bad here. A month ago the wife lost her job too. Its time to start a new job in a new field and most likely that involves moving to a new area, possibly out of state. I have also made the decision to eat healthier. I have greatly reduce the amount of soda that I drink. From several a day to a max of one a day and working on making it less than that in time. In addition to that, I have removed fast food from my diet all together. I have not had any Mcdonalds, Burger King, ect. in over 4 months. WHcih has been tough becuase I used to eat out several times a week. SO yeah, some big changes this year.
