You know, I'm kind of burnt out on any talent related show at this point. But I will say that if I compare the Voice auditions to American Idol, it points out why I hate and refuse to watch the AI auditions.

AI is all about the making fun of people. The Voice isn't like that at all. I mean sure, it's funny when someone is all shocked to find out that hey, they actually suck, but they tweak it and squeeze as much embarrassment out of it as they can. And I hate that. I don't find that entertaining. I'd rather see people getting a shot and being happy about it. Plus, even when the talented don't make it, it's just as much about the coaches not sure they can actually help out the person, instead of, "hey, you suck."

Dunno that I'll go the whole way and watch the season. But it's not near as offensive to watch as AI has become.
