Any way I have to buy and build a new 8 x12 deck at the entry of my dock on the lake . the old one is a danger for anyone to walk on . broken boards and the frame gave way last fall. then im going to have to buy a load like 3 yards of top soil to fill in some flower box's i built out of 3x5 landscape timbers this pass fall. its not much of a list right now but im sure it will grow as warmer weather arrives !

One of my bathrooms is about to fall apart. Might be time to demo it and put together something. Needless to say, I've been watching a lot of HGTV and DIY Network.

Gutting my bathroom and kitchen, removing an old closed in light/airshaft in the living room, some more back yard work.

Currently in the middle of completely gutting a first floor apartment (below me) and its scary to see how many joists were no longer connected to the side of the building. I'll post some pics soon.

Well my tax refund went into repairing the concrete of my driveway...

But on a side note, I did buy myself these as well:

Student loans. I'll probably go from making double payments to triple. I hate having this crap hanging over my head.

That's very kind of you, LP.

I have to put siding and windows on my house. The wood stuff is rotting off.

Did new windows for my sisters apt. Windows have come a long way, even from the "energy efficient" ones my parents put in 15ish years ago.

That my friend is the Cyborg M.M.O. 7... one of the finest gaming mice on the market today. This one finally has dethroned my old Logitech G9 mouse.

I don't get gaming mice. What does it give you: extra buttons? very fitting to your hand? Is it somehow more accurate with your movements? Or does it just look badass?

Well yes... it does all of those things.

1st.. it can be configured to fit your hand dayuum near perfectly. You can adjust the height of the palm rest, the length of the palm rest and you can configure the thumb button position so that you have the perfect "feel" for where the buttons are. You can also choose between smooth and textured grips to whatever your liking as well.

2nd.. Yes, it does have a ton of buttons to support gaming functions. With the "shift function" it has the ability to program up to 78 possible actions with just your mouse hand (it has 6 shift modes which can adjust 13 buttons). A bit overkill here.. but the option is there for folks who would be crazy enough to do it. BTW.. that round middle button on the side is actually a 5 way "hat switch" with up, down, left, right and push actions. Totally awesome feature there.

3rd.. It has on the fly "sniper mode" where you can touch one button on the thumb and you instantly reduce your DPI rate to slow your mouse movement to keep it square on target in a sniper mode. This feature is awesome... reducing missed shots because your hand is unsteady in sniper mode. This feels even better than using the manual DPI change button near the scoll wheel since the "sniper button" is a momentary switch and once you let go of it, you go back to the full DPI of the original setting. Totally awesome feature here.

4th.. It has weights on it just like my old G9. I like a heavier mouse... so this is great for me. If you don't like the extra weight, you can take them out. Plus the bottom of the mouse is made of metal... definitely much sturdier than most of the mice I've used before.

Now all that being said, you wouldn't need all of those features for doing basic "home office work".. but for gaming, they are all welcome additions. Pretty much when you game, you don't really have alot of time to hunt for buttons all over the keyboard, therefore offloading some of that to your mouse hand can really free up some effort...

And 5th... yeah, it does look badass... . Kinda like the Road Warrior meets the computer mouse. You'd have to see it in person to appreciate it. Definitely looks cool sitting on my desk.

Looks like a slew of baby deals are doing to be needed! Don't forget to have the wife sign up as an Amazon Mom.

    Congrats!

gaming mice do tend to track much faster and are in fact more precise. The wireless versions are also far better at tracking then even most wired, standard mice. Plus you can control the DPI for accuracy adjustments.

We've put down woods floors on the second floor, are having landscaping done around the pool and the house painted. Yikes, 7 years in FL.

    Yeah baby!

I figured I spend enough time at my computer at home, that it was worth the investment.... especially with having ergonomic issues.

I just hope that they live up to their 12 year warranty.

Please send your money to Ufcrusher c/o Leon. (psst...Leon 50/50 split)

Seriously though...all my money goes to pay for my kids, student loans, and mortgage payments. If only I had a timemachine.....
Welcome my son, welcome to the machine...Where have you been? It's alright we know where you've been....

I just refi'd my house so we're going to be painting/sealing the exterior and probably adding a couple more panels to my backyard solar array. I had to drop a little money on my CCIE pod to update it with 2811s to get ready for my lab exam, but that is for later this year.

Also, my little Anna is probably going to get introduced to the High Sierra this summer, so I'll be getting some new (or new-to-me) stuff for that.
    I think over again
    My small adventures, my fears.
The small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.

And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:

To live to see the great day that dawns,
And the light that fills the world.

I'm with you on the time machine and student loans. Only problem with a time machine is I still wouldn't have any better advice to myself now than I did 7 years ago. I would probably still end up on a very similar track.

Most our money has gone to car repairs for Mommypooh's van and now a big chunk towards paying condo fees that we were told by our lawyer to NOT pay while filing for bankruptcy...which apparently cannot be written off by law and we're now having to repay, with late fees...uggggg.

I'm a glutton for punishment. Just bought the kids one of those big cedar playsets that come with a bazillion pieces.

I'm also planning to remove myself from the gene pool this summer.
