    I own an HP832C w/ usb support...

    At one point it worked fine with USB, (I have not tried parallel support) Any way, it began messing up, where as it would print half a page and say restarting. The fix would be to press the usb cable firmly into the jack on the computer. Well that remedy is no longer working.

    I run W2k, SP1 plenty of RAM and processor to print heeheh...
    The problem may actually be with the USB root? cables on case or actual connections on MB? It is an AT style mb.

    Sounds like maybe a defective USB port on the computer. Not sure of what you're running so my suggestions are limited to wishing you good luck and encouraging some better system specs to be posted.
