i don't hate microsoft, but i don't like their practices. no, i also don't like at&t's or any other monopoly's practices any better. i agree that ms may have great products, but their marketing power got them where they are today. they convinced everyone that their stuff is the best, regardless of the truth. that is just good marketing. but when they muscle the competition out of the picture, that is bad business. how are they supposed to remain the best if they are afraid of competition? and what are they afraid of? that we will find out the truth?

the latest ms server product commercial cracked me up. it showed a computer room that needed to be maintained minimally. yes, now microsoft is almost where unix servers have been for decades!
