    Read this.

But before you do, you might want to have a change of underwear.

I want it. Now. The expect price should be over a million.

All I can say is [mouth wide open] ... [/mouth wide open]

    Damn...

I would expect the price to be well over a million. Look at the Maclaren F1. That's priced at a cool million if I remember right.

W-16 engine and quad turbos. Anyone want to predict the mileage?

Wouldn't "mileage" imply that it can go more than a mile per gallon??

I bet the milage is probably decent, once the engine gets goin. But, when you have 1001bhp and that kinda torque, "gets goin" is probably too fast to care

Anyway, I think it's good to see what VW can come up with, considering their reputation. This one looks like it'll probably take McLaren's record of the fastest "production" car right out from under them.

I'm not so sure - there are already cars faster than the McLaren 0-60. I think the Mosler MT900 beats it out by 0.1 or 0.2, for example. But the real issue is the aerodynamics - Ferrari's new F-car, the F60 or whatever it'll be called, will do 0-60 in around 3.4, same as the McLaren, but it's limited to around 200 mph because of the design. Do you think this swoopy-looking Bugatti can beat 234 (McLaren's number, I think)?

I hope it does, cause that means another scramble in the supercar world for world's fastest production car. Now if only I had a few million to spare on some of these beauties...

Well, I think it's going to come down to top speed. And I think the 16 cylinder quad turbo will have a better powerband than the 12 banger that McLaren is using. One of the problems that the top speed noted on the F1 is that the number is given out be McLaren. No one has ever really tested it. R&T did a feature on it a few months ago, and found out that the speedo on the car was very optimistic. And that can be expected when you're movin that quick. But don't base the numbers on it. This Buggati has hella potential. I can't wait to see the numbers.

Interesting. I guess I need to subscribe to R&T, too, huh? I agree, though, I can't wait to see this Bugatti in action.

Have you ever had that dream where you save a millioner's life and then he shows his gratitude by giving you a car of your choice? DO you think this would be too much to ask?
