OT: Sony Vaio v. Dell Notebooks

I apologize for the off-topic post .....

I'm considering purchasing a Sony VAIO PCG-XG700. But I can't seem to dig-up much reviews or user opinions on them. Does anyone have any experience with the Sony? Are they a good, reliable brand? How do they compare to Dell?

I have a sony viao pf-630. It is a great machine.Use all the time. Got a good deal at Sears on it. Price matched Best Buy and then got 10% off @ Sears. They also have $100 rebate.
