    hmm...the new windows seems to be a SLIGHT bit TOOO user friendly...its kind of a "fun" looking os, i have no problem with it, just not my style....i havent had any hardware conflicts yet, supressa burns well, and network is same as the previous os' hmm....has anybody else tried whistler?
    it wasnt me.......

    I don't know about you, but mine is s l o w as a dog.

    I installed in on a 700Mhz machine w/128MB, but it drags its feet like nothing else.

    I do, however, like the fact that the desktop can be completely empty of icons.

    yeah, thanks, i know they are out already... but don't you need to be a registered beta tester to actually test the software?

    Yeah - at least that's how I got it. It's actually harder to get copies now because they track the product keys given to each tester. If one leaks, they remove that tester from the beta and also cross them off of their list for future tests.

    you can bypass the activation code thing through the registry and then crack the timelimit.

    i've tried two "leaked" versions since i don't have $989847474 to subscribe to msdn but they both kinda sucked in my opinion.

    I think that key in the registry is only there for beta, but I could be wrong
