uh..who is that in reply to? i think speedfreak was referring to the 2nd link when he said "Oh.. that is just with 2 sattelites and a sub. "
the fist link is for the promedia 4.2(2 subs and 4 satellites)....the 2nd link is for promedia 2.1(2 satellites and one sub) maybe it's you that should do the careful reading...

does any body know how the 4.2 sounds compared to the 4.1. Is there 2 6.5's woofers per sub, or just 1? if theres only one per sub, then its would be the same as the 4.1, b/c i believe that the 4.1 sub has 2 woofers. so in either case, the 4.1 would be preferable to save space, rigth?

the 4.2's come with 2 6.5" subwoofers in 2 separate enclosures (1 in each). the v.2-400's have 2 6.5" subs in one enclosure. i think having 2 separate enclosures will give you bigger/louder bass ... as if the v2-400's didn't give enuff bass already

how many watts go into each sub for the 4.2 and how many watts go to the sub for the 4.1?
-
Lieutenant Junior Grade
the v.2-400's sub gets 160W
the 2.1's sub gets 130W (4.2's are just basically 2 2.1's). they're having a special on the klipsch website right now. you can get the 4.2's for $299, which isn't too bad considering i got the v.2-400's for $250.
