When do you think we'll plateau in the vid card market? I mean, what more could you want. We're not gonna get live action quality for a looooong time, so we're stuck with animated stuff. But when will you be happy with the performance?

it sounds sappy but i'm pretty satisfied with my herc mx great little card. wouldn't mind having a gts or a pro though. I don't know about the live animation stuff it might not be as far away as u think. I'd give it 5-10 years before we really have some crazy stuff. I mean look at how much computers have changed since the ibm pc junior in like 1980

I don't think there ever will be. At least not for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. You could say that for anything. Research for diseases, automobiles (transportation, anyways), space travel, evolution, etc...
