    What is the temp the CPU is at when idle?
    I have a Athlon 1gig on a AZ11E board.

    I thought someone said 96C was the point of no return. But anything over 65C is not even close to safe. humm I would say 52C is the highest I would run. I had my Athlon up to 65 and at still works but I shut it off after 65C(The alpha was not seated properly) It promply came back to life after I reseated it. At 65C you should pull the cord quick.
