I don't know if this constitute as a deal but I recently bought an IBM 40 gig hd 7500 rpm for only $160 + shipping. I got it from this site called 1steweb.net I think that's the correct address if not let me know.

Does it matter if it is 7200 RPM or 5400RPM. For an IBM 40 GB 5400 RPM, the cost is $110.00. Or for a Quantum 40GB 7200 RPM, the cost is $150

7200 rpm are faster. I use and recommend 7200 rpm hard drives.
