anywhere? I'm not real picky about the brand, unless its an Apex or something. Just kidding I do care if it's an apex.
Seriously just a mini disc player hopefully under 2 hunda. Thanks.

Well check out http://www.minidisco.com But of course I'm going to ask more specifics. Do you want just a player or a recorder too? And does the brand matter to you?
there is always cyberrebate.......
Oh it definitely needs to be a recorder. I wouldn't mind a lower profile mini disc recorder if it gets good props or good ratings. Quality is first concern, then price.

Also, I am going to be recording my buddy's band with it and then transfer it to computer and edit it with Pro Tools or Vegas Audio. I am also wanting to record audio for a film project. I heard the crappiest thing about mini discs is the microphone jack. Any suggestions?

this casio caught my attention, im not a minidisc buff so i need advice.
does this casio have recording capabilities??
if it does have that feature, i'll buy it for sure...
also, in general, are minidiscs capable of being connected to the computer for music? and if they are...is it also possible to write data[other than music] to the minidisc?
thanks for the help.
it wasnt me.......
you can only put media on the mini disc, no data
and the casio cant record
Try http://www.ubid.com. On Sunday, they had some SONY's for auction
My brother just got a SWEET changer system at Fry's B&M in Fountain Valley, CA, if you are anywhere in the area. It is a Sony and I forgot the total specs and what not, but it is either a cd changer, an md changer, or both, but it definitely has both a cd player and an md player in it. He got it for either $199, or $200. Turns out the worker there also told him that it is only like $5 above cost for them! So go check it out soon if you are in the area!
