i just got this in the mail today - you can get a free "Virtual Private Networks for Dummies" book just for registering at Cisco. go to www.cisco.com/offer/1700series/d827 and register as a guest user and fill out a short form and you get this book for free - it is a $24.99 value. not bad, huh?

Good find. Did you try this ? Depending on what you pick, it asks for sales number, registration #, or CCIE certification #.

yes, i did do it. go to the url and underneath the graphic for the VPN for dummies book there are 2 links - "CCO Registered User" and "Guest User". click the Guest User link and it doesnt ask for any of that other stuff

Gotta love Cisco. This'll be the second free networking book they've sent me. They're actually legitimately free as long as your interested in their routers, which I am, so it's a double bonus. Thanks .
