Thread: Netscape Problems

  1. #1

    Unhappy

I've been having problems with Netscape freezing on me lately. While surfing...and while in Messenger reading mail. I thought that it might just be a glitch or something...so i uninstalled & downloaded again....but it happened all over again. I also tried installing from one of my CD's....same thing.

Does anyone know what might cause this & what i can do to fix it? I'm being forced to use IE for now...and i absolutely HATE IE.

If anyone can help me here it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks. (c:

I had the exact same problem... Netscape would always lock up on me... so I had to finally give up on it and commit to using IE.

    All Fixed! I think...

Nevermind guys. I contacted Netscape through help & they helped me out. I think i have the problem fixed now.

IrishSS...try this & maybe you can go back to using Netscape too. This is what i was told to do.

Close communicator, go into my computer, C drive, program files, netscape, users, Your User Name, and open the folder called cache. Delete anything inside of the cache folder and then try again.

It seems to have worked for me. I'm running Netscape right now. It would always freeze before i got to this page when it was freezing...so me just GETTING here is a good sign. *L*
