Thread: Free ISP

  1. #1
I was having a problem with the blue light free isp (it not loadng right) and so I uninstalled it and tody I decided to re-install it (as a back up to my back up isp). What I noticed now though is that instead of unlimited, then 50? hours, then 25 hours it now only gives 12 hours! Anyway, better than nothing so I'm still going to let it be my back up for my back up. *Note* If you buy something at bluelight.com, depending on how much you spend, you will get free (unlimited isp) from them.

By the way, I am using bluelight now and its pretty quick!!

there is also another one called nocharge.com, but they do require you to be online at least 80 hours a month(approx. 2 hrs day) just read their qualifications. this one also has no irritating banners.

Nocharge has numbers for Washington State, Oregon, Puerto Rico and NYC. http://www.nocharge.com/content/connect.asp

As for bluelight I gave up on them. They always gave lousy connections. I signed up for Netzero's $50 for 6 months plan. So far so good.

oops, I didn't mean to neglect to mention that blue light DOES have a banner. Its smaller than net zero's though.

what happens if you are not on nocharge for more than 80 hours?; you have to pay them? 80 hours is actually closer to 3 hours a day, 7 days a week.....damn...wait, does it disconnect if idle for a certain period of time? -If not then I guess someone could just leave it on all the time as long as they had another phone line.
