Alright, well today as been one crappy ass day. To start off, my alarm did not go off this morning and I missed my Calculus class which I had a quiz in. Then, I went to my French class to find out that I had quiz yesterday which I missed as well. After getting off school, I come home for lunch. I turn on the stove, and since my stove doesn't have a timer on it, I turned on the microwave for 15 minutes so when it buzzed I'd know my food was ready. While i'm hungrily waiting, I got check how much time is left only to find that there are FLAMES BURSTING FROM MY MICROWAVE! I go for the fire extinguisher under the sink and turn it off. It's still kind of smoking so I go open a window. The little window mechaninism doesn't catch and it slams back down on the end of my finger. And this is one heavy duty window. So now i'm screaming in pain as my microwave is still smoking. I thougt i'd relax and eat my food only to find the crap from the fire extinguisher fell in it. So now I have no microwave, my finger is broken I think (it hurts like a MoFo, purple on both sides) and I ate bread and juice. Hope y'all had a better day than I did

Doesn't your microwave have a timer on it? I think the majority of them do... it's not good to run a microwave when it is empty.
