for those who have already used coupon code 47492, staples is not accepting coupon code 89492 ($30 off $100 from coupons page). CSRs are saying that is for $30 off $150. i was told i would have to fax them the coupon saying it's 30 off 100, where would i find the coupon??

I don't have any coupons for $30 off of $100 but you could try using the coupon codes "47245" or "47247" for $30 off of $100. If a CSR doesn't accept it, say thank you , hang up and call back again. Good Luck.

Can you explain to me why you have to call those CSRs, when you can type your coupon codes into the computer with no questions asked, No faxes to send. Usually if a coupon is valid it will go through on the site, if it's not valid, it won't go through the CSRs either.

I found an alternative. You could enter the $25 off $100.00 instead making it $5.97 + tax. Its not a buck anymore, but $6.00 for a scanner and a game, I think thats a good deal.

I got this free after rebate (19.99 with $20 rebate) last week at Compusa. It has a sticker on the front. However, its not really a game in the ordinary sense. "Requires an internaet connection and Win 95 or 98", followed by "You must accept the enclosed license agreement and MSN Gaming Zone license agreement before you can use this product. If you do not accept the terms of the licesnse agreements you should promptly return this product for a refund.

It looks like a vehicle yo play games over the net while on the m$ clock to me.

how many people are looking at this for asherons call? i think that the scanner plus anything that will make this purchase a deal is what we are all looking for. so if anyone knows of anything that staples is offering that will make this deal come through let us know. for example a $30 item with a $20 rebate and the 30 off 100 coupon will make it a $10 scanner and something else we dont need. any ideas???

I actually went through all of their rebates and I didn't find anything that hasn't expired yet. I guess we just waited too long because about 10 rebates expired on 4/14

just last week or week before...according to the rebate submission...they said the rebate is for
Memorex MAXX Scanner/HP Scanner

i purchased the MAXX scanner. in the rebate center, there are two rebates, each one covering BOTH scanners. however, just below each rebate link it indicates that it is for one scanner or the other:

yeah, i ordered it. i got the HP scanner and acheron's call. used one of the posted coupons, used the MIR off staples' site for the scanner, and the acheron's call MIR from microsoft. came to 100.97 before coupons, rebates. ended up being something like $6 tax... just waiting for it to come now...

Did anyone else get notified of Asheron's Call being unavailable from Staples? I placed my order successfully on Sunday and now they are telling me I have to order something else in it's place. Anyone know of another product with either a full or close to full rebate at Staples? I don't care what it is since I didn't do this deal for the game anyway - I just wanted the scanner.
