I came here expecting to make friends, but all I am getting is bad assumptions and people mistaking me for being romantically interested in them. I belong to another board and everybody there has always been very friendly and welcomes everybody that joins the site, I guess I was wrong in assuming that would be the case here. I have only had one or two people that cared to welcome me and/or talk to me. I guess I made a mistake in joining this site

I think you just caught the good folks around here on a bad day. I've only been posting for a month now but I have been watching this site for a long time now since lpmiller does all the news posting and demands constant attention!
This is a great group of folk unlike any. They are here for you! Our form of "humor" tends to confuse some but if you stick around I think you'll make some good friends here. Hell I think mojo and cruelpupet are great to chat with. Pennypinch, wellfareloser,oblongmelon, and TheHappySqurel are just a few other names off the top of my head I can think of that you would get along with too. I don't mean to leave anyone out here for if given time I could list off about two hundred folks that are all great!. You had a ruff start but give it time so you can know us and we can know you.
