I am not sure if this works, but it sure looks tempting...
"This is a simple deal!
For the year 2000, our advertising agency has recommended that we provide our new line of GATTACA Sightware Sunglasses FREE to readers of select high-end magazines and online. This technique will help us create instant national brand awareness for our specialized line of Future Perfect Sightware and Timeware.
Help us get the Gattaca brand recognized by ordering six or more free sunglasses for yourself, family and friends and we'll send you the new Analog/Digital TERRAMAX Adventure Watch FREE! ($11.95 P&H). Choose one for every six sunglasses ordered.
You may choose one or more sunglasses. However, if you did not choose a total of six sunglasses, you may still buy the
TERRAMAX Adventure Watch separately for our wholesale price of $99 plus $11.95 P&H.
Orders are processed immediately and mailed First Class! This is a limited time offer. DON'T MISS OUT! DON'T FORGET! ORDER NOW! Expires: 5-15-2000"
Shipping and Handling charges are pretty high, but for "6" free sunglasses and free watch, this may be a hot deal... I don't know if Gattacacorp makes these "sightware", although you can see their logo on one of the sunglasses. Of course, these are no Rayban or Killer Loop, but they look nice, at least on the web page. Can anyone check if the company is legit and the offer isn't a scam?

Ranges from 8.95 to 17.95, depending on the price of the item. The pair I was thinking about sells for $99, the shipping would be $11.95. I'm just not sure I want to spend that much for a pair of sunglasses that I haven't even tried on for fit. I mean, if I spend all my money on sunglasses, what will I use the next time there are staples coupons???

shipping details go to:

it's kinda confusing because whenever you put something in the basket they remind you again with individual shipping cost.

I've seen people actually wearing the glasses in real life. they're not to bad though i wouldn't believe the msrp on them but they look like a nice pair of glasses.
-
I've heard that the quality on these glasses are questionable. Also that the shipping costs along are way more than what the shades are worth. *proceed with caution*

if you want some really good foakley's, go to www.replicaoutlet.pair.com

I bought a pair of GATTACA sunglasses through the offer. I paid 17 bucks for shipping and handling but the quality of the glasses are sub-par. They look nice and all but they can easily be broken (especially the arms of the glasses. My friends said they were worth it so I guess it was a good deal.

They've had this deal up all of 1999 it's nothing new it was located in the AGN Hardware site for as long as I can remember, it just looks like a tired stale old deal (if indeed it is a deal) trying to be reborn, my point --- it's not a new promotion or anything like they claim.

has anyone purchase a pair of fakeoakey from replicaoutlet.pair.com???/how was their quality in the lens and frame???like the a-wire, does it taste like the real thing????or is it the sweepmeet quality sunglasses?????thanks

I HATE these sunglasses deals. They are by no means free, they charge you the price of the cheap POS's in the shipping...chanrging per item, and $17 each for the expensive glasses? order 6 nice sunglasses and the watch, your bill will quickly climb to over $80 or so...plus you'll buy more than one, and who really needs 6 pairs?
So youre paying $10-15 for crap sunglasses that you cant try on.
No thanks. I'd rather go to Wal-Mart or Target, and try on a pair of $10 sunglasses that look nice, where they are nice enough to return the glasses if they break too soon. Plus they are usually fairly good looking. Or go downtown to your local metropolitan city and buy Foakleys out of a briefcase for $7.
Screw these FREE sunglasses deals, they are the biggest rip off. Its not worth the pain and effort.

Andy's garage used to have this "shadeshack" that sold rayban, killer loop, serengeti, nikon, and bunch of other name brand sunglasses for a relatively low price (how's 30 for a 120 killer loop sound? not ridiculously low). My friends and I bought a couple of them, and the quality is pretty nice too. I am no sunglasses expert, but i believe they are original (with the boxes, carrying case, and the warranty manual), but overstocked items. I can't find the site on the page now tho, maybe they will start selling sometimes later again.

I actually brought a pair of 80 dollars Ray Ban from shades.com that came out pretty nice.

The_dude8: I bought a pair of e-wires. they're great. the lenses are good, and looks real enough. They're not plastic but metal. The logos are in the right places. I love them.
