I'm getting paid to buy McAfee Viruscan 5.0

I've been lurking on these boards for a while... finally have my chance to give something back :-)

I just visited the local Office Depot with my Sunday ad book from Circuit City.

Office Depot has McAfee 5.0 for $29.99, Circuit City advertises it for $14.99. With the 155 pricematch that made it just under $7.00 + tax.

The cool part is, there was a rebate form at Office Depot to get a $10 rebate on the purchase of any McAfee software product purchased through 5/31/00, so they will wind up paying me about $3 to buy it. I don't think the rebate is specific to OD.

Cool, but I'd have to leave this terminal at the county library that I have been keeping warm for 16 days straight, and I may miss deals, in sense making me lose money, not gain, in fact I don't know if I get my deals because I haven't been home!!!!

Could anyone scan in the Circuit City sales circular showing McAfee VirusScan 5.0 on sale for $14.99? My local one does not have any sales circulars for this week, and OD wouldn't budge without one. Sorry for the duplicate request.

Price Match Note: it doesn't say "version 5.0" anywhere on the box, so if they try to question whether the software is the same (even though the picture looks exactly like it, they still wanted to verify it when I bought mine), the sku number is listed in the add and matches the sku number on the retail box.

At my OD, the version number was on the price tag on the shelves.

If anyone can't find the rebate form, there is an alternative:

You can mail a 3 x 5 card with Name, address, city, state, zip, and phone and email address. A copy of receipt indicating product purchased with purchase date , and the UPC from the box. Mail to:
