You could always create work by breaking something. :-)

    Unhappy

I can relate. I have lots of potential work, however the two people that I need to talk with are out of town! I had to pick up some work a co-worker was mid way through before being activated from the army reserves. I guess I shouldn't complain, I just don't know what was required and where he was at with it and wouldn't you know the two people that would know aren't around. It will be fun trying to understand what is needed because the project leader for this lives in Brazil and is in the USA for training. Nice guy, just hard to understand. I could guess...but considering it is developing repairs for GE jet engines, it would not be in everyone's best interest

I feel your pain Styleee . . . I've been sitting here at work doing dididididdly squat all day! The ONLY productive things I've done are email a few files and meet with a couple reps for half an hour (And it's stretching it to call a rep meeting productive). There is just absolutely nothing to do. And to top it all off, we got an email earlier today saying that the office was closing at 1 tomorrow . . . we were very happy to say the least . . . then that was followed not 2 minutes later by an email stating that OUR office is staying open . . . it's just other divisions that get to leave at 1 and that that email wasn't meant for us . . . BAH!

Looks like another day of doing nothinggggg . . . the client's office is closed, our sister office that also works on this client's account in Chicago is closed . . . and we're just sitting here twiddling our thumbs and it's only 9:30.

    i wish it was yesterday

omg, i'm so NOT in the mood to do anything today. i'm having waves of hung overness drifting by me. if that makes any sense at all.

i was really out too late last night, and of course, there is actually work to be done today. and i don't want to do it. i want to leave work early so i can go down the shore and sleep. actually, i just want my bed. i hate work.

but, on the brighter side, i played softball last night, and my company's team WON. and i was the pitcher. yeahaa. which is why we drank so much but i suppose, if we had lost we might have drank as much, but we won.

Hmmm . . . I had my hungover day yesterday . . . oh boy . . . made sure not to drink much last night. As for softball, seems like we rarely get to celebrate wins. Man oh man . . . I never thought I'd be playing corporate softball. Do you play in Central Park? Our league is stuck playing out on Randall's and Ward's Island.

    haha! that sucks!

yeah, we played at central park. and it is really funny, cause one of the division's of my company deals with pro sports. well, i guess that isn't so funny, i'm just struggling a lil' bit here.

anyway, so the 'captain' of our team afterward asked me how long i played softball for, and i was like, NEVER, I HATE SOFTBALL. which, is sorta true. i just have nothing better to do, so why not play. but now, on top of being terribly hung over, i'm in achy pain from throwing a stupid ball all night. and running. grrr.

i'd rather be down the shore

Hmmm . . . I figured out something I'll do today . . . I'll run down to the St. James Theater and pick up tickets to The Producers . . . for December 2002 or whenever the heck they're available.
