The minimum number of prints required will exclude almost all individuals.
I looked into this nearly a year ago and noticed that.
The fact that it has been around that long indicates that it is a good, reliable deal.

Page computer was selling a 740 Techtronic for $699 and man'f had a $500 rebate. I missed it, but I thought maybe some others didn't.

everytime i see this thread title, i think that you're talking about a laser in any color other than red, which would be really cool. I'd be all over buying one of those baby. Especially green and blue (two of the hardest to manufacture due to wavelengths) light lasers. Oh well...

2 completely separate items here. The Page computer's $699 with $500 mail in rebate one (no printing requirements), and the free color printer phaser 850 one (requirements). The one I wanted was the Page computer one.
