    Warrior Dash - MD

I'll be doing a Warrior Dash tomorrow. Pray I don't break something right before I go on vacation on Monday. Anyone else do a Warrior Dash? 3 mile obstacle course. Gonna get dirty.

My husband did one earlier this year. He took a Go Pro video of it while doing it, seemed pretty cool, some of the obstacles (at least at the socal one) would get crowded despite the waves.

    So how did it go?

In the first 20 feet my shoe got stuck in the mud and I created a bottleneck. I mean my shoe was really stuck in the mud. All the obstacles were fine except for the last one. The last one was a mud pit with barb wire overhead. I swam 75% of the way before I got stuck. The mud got so thick I couldn't propel myself forward and I floated on top of it. Too deep to crawl forward too. If I didn't get pushed from behind and a little help at the end I think I would have had a heart attack and suffocated. For that reason I will never do it again. I'm not kidding. That last obstacle was dangerous because the consistency of the mud was too thick and too deep. I couldn't get myself to stand up straight or get my legs underneath me. If I had my head in the mud I would have died. They added more water after I finished but still I wouldn't do it again. I heard from other people that this course was more challenging and that mud pit was deeper than in years past.

Nice to hear from you pink...it's been a looong while.

I saw people in Avengers costumes and/or just speedos with the logos. Two girls in full on wedding gowns. Full on spandex body suits. It was nuts for sure.
