We knew the replacement refs were bad. What I don't understand was why the fans keep watching. If you want the NFL to resolve the dispute, you have to hit them in the wallet. QUIT WATCHING.

NPR just did a segment earlier yesterday where the guest said it was only a matter of time until a team won a game solely based on a bad ref call (apparently there have already been calls that tipped games).

Funny it should happen the night that aired.

Yea I heard that too. The refs' salaries are a small drop in a very large bucket, but supposedly NFL doesn't want to appear soft and thus encourage the players' union to hold out for more next time that contract comes up for negotiation.

I don't know why the packers went back on the field. I think the fans should boycott the whole season.

I agree that the pseudo-refs got the last call wrong. BUT there were also wrong calls in the Packer's favor on two of the Packer's scoring drives would have otherwise been over, so the call on the final play really just evened things out.

@ Markel: there are calls favored the Seahawks as well on their last two drives beside the last call (PI on Sam Shields and roughing the QB).
