OKay, heres the deal,
My 8 yr old son and I are doing a geography project where we are collecting soil/sand samples from all 50 states. When we are done he will literally own a piece of every state. It's a really cool project and he is super excited about it. I told him, when it is done, none of his friends will ahve anything like it. We are also creating a little fact sheet about each state along with a small paragraph about whoever got that particular sample for us.
Where we need help is geting some of those samples. We dont know people in every state, so we need some networking. If you are able to cover one state for us, assistance would be greatly appreciated. We will cover postage both ways, sending a sample container, along with a prepaid postage mailer. All you will ahve to do is gather a bit of sand, put it in the sample container, in that in the envelope, and then in the mail.

States that are already covered are: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, TExas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, and Nevada.
