    On this day in 1986....the Space Shuttle "Challenger" exploded.



    So to honor the seven astronauts who perished, and to put a positive spin on space travel, I give you this photo ...


    Photo taken last month at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.
