    Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,

I was wondering what the best thing to do is as far as getting a newer system. I've got a Pentium 233 MMX (yes, that's right, I said MMX...no PII no PIII). We're talking old school here. It's going to be an antique pretty soon and I was wondering if I could get a deal on an inexpensive barebones system (I'd be extatic with a PIII even). Something I could load a bunch of RAM into and some of my present stuff (CDRW, MODEM, Etc.). So, I am willing to listen to all and any suggestions.

    graciously yours,
    Super

http://www.compgeeks.com usually has some great prices on the not so up-to-date stuff and http://www.accessmicro is having deals on mobo, ram, and cpu bundles. Also try http://www.mwave.com and http://www.newegg.com

I have used http://www.techsonsite.com once before and their product was pretty good. I bought the cheapest barebones they sell for my dad who was upgrading from a 75mhz machine. It has worked great for him and I'm looking at buying again from them soon. From what I can tell, their prices are excellent.
