So I was home over the weekend and the subject of my wedding registry came up. We're having a shower next month sometime. I was told that I really should think about adding a DVD player to the list. Who am I to argue?

So, I'm looking around for some suggestions for a decent multi-disk unit that rings in under $300. Got anything good?

Alternatively, I've seen these all-in-one gizmos, I think by Aiwa. It's one of their goofy looking stereos that also does DVD. This looks like a pretty good idea cause we're looking for a stereo too at some point and I like the idea of consolidatin' some of our crap. Now, keep in mind that neither of us are audio/videophiles, so having some top-notch product isn't necessary. However, NOT having a worthless piece of crap product IS! I had an Aiwa stereo in the past, and while it was good for a few years, the CD player eventually crapped out (I think after like 3-4 years). So what your take on these thingies?

    Thanks folks!

The best thing to do would be to check out AudioReview.com and find the exact product you are refering to....AudioReview is a site where regular folk post reviews of the audio and video products that they own. You can also check out the multidisk players and find one that suits your tastes.

At one time I thought about getting one of those combo deals, and I heard some bad things about the one I was thinking of....but I think it was a Toshiba model....anyway, check out that site, and you should get all the info you need.
With your feet in the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
    Your head will collapse
    But there's nothing in it
    And you'll ask yourself

    Where is my mind?

    Way out in the water
    See it swimmin' ?
