Hell yes there are nerds and geeks and dorks and so forth. Nerds are the dudes who dedicate their entire lives to schooling because their parents told them so, they're not always smart, but they know a lot. The usually think they are smarter than everyone else and they think that some day they will become big CEO's and get their revenge. Geeks just like nerdy stuff, but they're not nerds. Dorks just like do weird stuff, they're dorks ;-P. So there! HA! I classify a techie as myself: knowing a fair amount about computers and electronics (still learning like crazy), having a social life (just got a g/f, wohooo!!!!), uses comp for work and play, insted of just crunching numbers or just playing unreal tourny all night, being able to hold up a conversation about electronics, computer lingo, hardware,software, stuff like that
