    What's the difference??

    I think one is the standard and the other is the actual interface. But the terms are interchangable in use.

    UDMA is the standard or the name of the interface. ATA is the acronym of the technical interface.
    UDMA 5=ATA100
    UDMA 4=ATA66
    UDMA 2=ATA33
