My New Inspiron 4000

My new Inspiron came in the mail yesterday. I have to say that I am really impressed by it. After reading what people had to say about it, I was expecting to get a computer with a very fragile casing and useless speakers. The casing doesn't seem flimsy at all to me. Quite sturdy, in fact. The only time it does seem unprotective is when the color panals are removed. Since they are always on, it's not a problem. As for the speaker volume, it was low when I first got it. I downloaded the latest sound drivers from Dell's website and it has increased the maximum volume by at least 50%. A very noticeable difference! I'd recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a great balance between price and portability.

Sweet, I just ordered one last night from Dell. Got a couple of questions if you don't mind.

How long did it take you to actually get it?
And did you buy any of the color panels?

It arrived six days after Dell confirmed the order shipped after I placed the order. UPS ground shipping, TX to So Cal. I think it took longer than it should have.

My refurb came with Indigo Blue panals. I think they're a nice personal touch. Subtle, yet noticeable.
