    ok heres the problem, i need a solution
    what i have:
    altec lansing ada 885 5 speaker dolby digital thx certified speakers (they kick so much ass)
    TV
    COMP
    PS2
    what i need:
    all the sound from these babies to come thru my altec lansing speakers

    How would i do this, i know these speakers can be used as home entertanment speakers and be hooked up to a ps2 i just dont want to have to switch wires when i turn things on

    Well, I don't have any experience with these speakers, but it sounds like you need a receiver.....however, if these speakers are self powered, which it sounds like they must be since you don't already have a receiver, then I really don't know what you need.......give some more info on the speakers please.

    You will need a switch box of some sort. If you want to go even cheaper, then I suppose you can buy a couple of audio splitters and mess around with some female to male RCAs. If you want truly awesome sound, then definitely get a receiver. If you don't have too much to spend, the switch box is a good idea. Another option is to go to Guitar Center or some music store and buy a mini-mixer.
