Just an update:

damn.. i had the supercerticate in my cart but the site went down before i could check out.. anyways i called their customer service at the 212 number (oh well) and the supercertificate is offered by www.familynetwork.com. The lady said 'how did you know that there was a $25 la la la if you came from www.freeforum.com' i told her that someone told me about it. She said they are getting unbelieve amounts of traffic (I wonder if this deal is posted on a bunch of other boards already) and that I should try again later (who knows the promo might be gone then).

Yeah you have to use the "Join the Free Forum Family Network" link. I couldn't get through and when i finally did i got a message saying that they are temporarily closed. Now I just can't get through.. would have been a damn good deal..

those who go in: if you have your supercertificate code you should be able to redeem it at giftcertificates.com (that is IF the $25 supercertificate if from there)

I just got in. Once you submit your profile (you don't have to fill anything in) then click on Member Benefits and then select the $25 Supercertificate.

When you get to the page that says "Your profile has been update" there are three links on the right hand side. Click on the one that says "Member Benefits". Then you'll see a link for the "Free $25 Supercertificate"

i've missed out on entirely too many. this is what youg et for not checking Gotapex every other minute...alas. I have the free vivarin samples and coupons to keep em awake forever...but i still need to relieve myself every once in a while. I just need some way to counteract that need and i'll be set to check gotapex around the clock.

For what it's worth (and it ain't worth much) I posted the darn deal and still didn't get the thing. Hacks me off pretty mightily - there are an awful lot of etailers that think the excuse " we didn't know what was happening" seems to cover everything - that wouldn't fly in the real world, would it?

The air check sounds pretty lame, from what I've heard. Depends on the price of your ticket to begin with how much you really get off - it starts at $25. Puh-tooey.

BTW, the OP (I forget where I found it) found the deal printed in a PC magazine. I sure hope the same magazine prints how well they honored their "offer."
