I am in a pretty grumpy mood because of various other threads and then when I checked my Amazon account, I felt worse.
A buyer who bought something on Amazon Marketplace (where you list alongside regular Amazon items) decided that he wanted another item (which had the same name) as the one he bought from me. The problem is that the one I shipped is the one that was described. He just assumed it was something else. I spoke to Amazon CS and while they were friendly, they wouldn't help.
I have nothing to gain by helping this guy out (except feedback) and everything to lose (i.e. cash)
I then sent him a very nasty (but non libelous) email discussing the fact that he bought deviant homosexual pornography [hey, I'm just satisfying the marketplace] and perhaps his neighbors would be interested in his purchases. Further, the item that he "really wanted" involved rape, sodomy, child molestation and rape and other deviance. I explained that this would likely not reflect highly on him. Especially the fact that he was trying to extort me in order to get this material.
Did I go to far?
Not far enough?
What should I have done?
