    Exclamation

Well, I got the approvals from the hotel people and I can now advertise this.

    >If Apex/GAM think this falls into the "referral" category, I would be happy to arrange a favorable commission structure in exchange for Deals page promotion<

I think I am covering everything:

    1. it is for UP TO 4 days/3 nights (less is up to you)

    2. They prefer couples (don't have to be married) and can be same sex (i.e. bring your roommate). If not, at least look like you can afford a timeshare and dress the part at the presentation (it is just one morning out of the 4 you will be there)

    3. Please at least pretend to be interested in the deal [The timeshare] (but after 2 hours, you are free to leave) I do these a lot, and it is not too hard

    4. You need to put up a $75 deposit when you make your reservation (because they are really reserving the room). You get the money credited back immediately when you check in. At present, I am PERSONALLY GUARANTEEING the money. If you do it and have a problem, I will pay you out of my pocket.

    5. Travel is up to you (unrelated to the deal). If you are in the LA or SF areas, they have a $99 ROUNDTRIP all inclusive deal on airfare till December:

    6. Just send me your names, address and numbers with good times to call. The reservation people will call (they will take your CC info so I am not in the middle of it)

    6. Except for New Years weekend, I think the rest of the year is available.

Email if you have any questions

You should be able to combine this with the machine gun thing (see other thread).

I've heard these hotels were usually the lower quality ones or at an off location like circus circus and stratosphere

The catch is you have to listen to a presentation about timeshares available in the Las Vegas area.

Sidenote LGM you have to be 26 yrs or older to sign up to get this deal, I already got the call for it and was actually going to look into timeshare's in L.V.

The people were nice enough to list me for future timeshares for younger people I suppose.

I know I'm too young to do this, but can someone tell me what a timeshare is? I know they talk to you for 2 hours, but what do they sell?

Typically with a timeshare the company is selling you TIME to SHARE a property. It could be a weekend or a week per year. They are typically used in vacation hot spots like Vegas, NV; Havasu, AZ; Tahoe, Yosemite, or Sequoia CA for example. We did this once and had a 5 bedroom house for Memorial Day Weekend (4 days, 3 nites) on a Lake near Yosemite. I think it cost about $1000 for that time share but we took like 20 people and there were extra beds there so it was cheaper than renting a hotel (it was a regular house so it had kitchen and fridge also) but not too much like buying or renting a whole house year round.

PS> I am only 22 so I can not do it either. A relative had setup a time share for the one above and we attended as a small family gathering.
