Well, that didn't take long at all.

It seems to be us but they haven't come out and confirmed it.

    Wait a second folks......

I think it would be extremely premature for us to assume at this point that this is a form of U.S. retaliation. Remember, that part of the world is struggling through civil war itself. Yes, there are explosions in Afganistan. However, for us to blindly assume that those are us beginning to exact revenge upon others is shortsighted and, I believe, irresponsible.

cnn is saying it is absolutely NOT the USA causing the explosions. only time will tell...

Its not us...chances are it IS afghanistan itself...chances are they know where the terrorist are and are retaliating on our behalf before we just bomb everything.
Am I alone here? Is that it?
Am I the only one who sees.

Maybe we can learn to be just like him.

    Taliban

CNN has just reported that the Taliban has claimed responsibility for these explosions. They are also claming that more will follow.

It's from the civil war over there
I think it's only a matter of time until Bush orders an attack though
The question is will he wait until we know for sure who did it...

And if it were us, I think there would be a lot more action than what I saw on cnn.

I am glad we did not rush out an bomb Afghanistan just for the sake of doing something. Somebody will pay, and pay dearly once we have a better idea of who to target.

I agree, no foolish actions kill those who do deserve it

It wasn't the US attacking Kabul, it was the Opposition Rebels responding to the attempted assassination of their leader (He may be dead now, we don't really know for sure). Apparently it was 2 helicopter gunships that came into the capital and fired the rockets. You know if it had been the US, it would have been missiles.

However, if it was Bin Laden who masterminded this attack on the US, given Bush's speech saying he'd hold those who harbored the terrorists just as responsible as the terrorists themselves . . . we will be attacking the Taliban soon enough.

there is evidence, by means of intercepted cell phone calls, that point to Bin Lauden, who is being protected by the Afgans. as Bush and leaders of England, France, Russia and other have said, there will be no difference in terms of retialliation between the terrorists and those who protect them; i hope they mean it.

even if it wasn't confirmed that a specific terrorist group is responsible, i think they should all be killed in retialliation. there is no reason to live only to inflict terror in others and i hope they are all exterminated like the vermin they are.
