Thumbs up Waiting for Guffman...funny as hayell

I watched Chris Guest's movie "Best in Show" the other day and I thought it was pretty damn good. So my girl brings to my attention another one of his films, "Waiting for Guffman". It was excellent. If you liked Best in Show then I would definitely recommend this one as well, as it is in the same kinda format. Mockumentary I guess. Anyways, just wanted to post something positive.

Yes, thanks for posting something positive.

Hmmm. I think I've seen "Waiting for Guffman." I can't exactly remember, though. What is it about?

I really liked Best in Show. It was hilarious. Another good mockumentary I liked is "This is Spinal Tap" by Rob Reiner. I highly recommend it.

Stan, Waiting for Guffman is about a smalltown musical production, made for the towns 150th anniversary. The city is named Baine, and their rise to fame is there footstool manufacturing plant. They are known as "The Stool Capitol of the US"

    Does that refresh your memory?

hmmm I guess I haven't seen it. hehe. But sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to check it out. I could use some light hearted comedies to cheer me up right now. Check out Trekkies too. It's really funny, and it's REAL!!!
