    Anyone else have this happen?

I recieved a white manilla envelope, with a flyer on cisco products, and another page saying "Here's your Virtual Networking Book"
and alas, no book.. just two silly pieces of paper.

    Oh well I guess...

I'd call them up and tell them I didn't get it if I were you. Probably a postal service problem they'd be willing to correct. If you still want the book, that is...

    Thumbs down

Man, That sucks. Kind of unusual. I still have 2 coming for me, I'll let you know if I actually get the book inside, too.

it was VIRTUALLY a book! Virtual, virtual, virtual. Virtual. Virtual. Virtual. Thats a weird word. If you say it enough times, it doesn't make sense any more, virtually.

Hmm... I actually got the book....Check the envelope, if it says how much they paid for shipping, see if thats enough for a book. That'll tell you if its a postal service problem or not.

    Cool

Fortunately, I got mine in an open envelope but with the content intact. It may be the postal worker who took it.

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago with the "VPN for Dummies" book. I sent e-mail to the address at the bottom of the form-letter that was included in the package saying it had been opened and the book removed. They sent me a replacement!
