    Spelling Errors

If I see some of these common spelling errors once more, I am gonna scream:

    Loose is opposite of Tight
    Lose is opposite of Find

    Your is opposite of My
You're is the short version of You Are

    There is opposite of Here
They're is the short version of They Are

There are others that I see quite often, but I don't remember them right now.

This may seem like a puny point, but this Is America where I thought that you don't need an English Degree to know how to spell basic words. I learned this stuff in Elementary School.

It's "going to scream". "Gonna" isn't a word.
Not something I really care about, but you are the one getting on about proper spelling.

I've sometimes wished there was a spellcheck option for when you submit a post. Of course, that wouldn't find grammatical errors such as you're/your, etc., but it might catch a few of the typos (unless you type in hacker-speak).

Or "s" and "'s". I always see that wrong. Add an s or es to make something plural, use the apostrophe for possession or contraction.

It's called cut and paste. Type it up in word and then cut and paste it. It's what I do when I am concerned about spelling and gramar in a post (almost never).

I know. It's just too much trouble to do for every post. Sometimes I fire up Word if I need to spellcheck something.

Not concerned about spelling or gramar? I would have never guessed?
