    Band of Brothers

Well i've seen every episode so far ,and wether or not it's entirely accurate, I must say it makes me want to appreciate the ole timers even more. Living in San Antonio ,where we have 5 military instalations, I have meet many older gentlemen who served in WWII but very few of them will talk about it and I see why. The John Wayne flicks and the black and white photos in our history books can't even begin to tell you what these guys went through.

    Unfathomable

I just wrapped up the series tonight. I can't come to words with this feeling I have. I want to bounce up and down for our veterans, but it is more than that. War has changed since WW2 and I don't think it will ever be the same. It was interesting to see how an Army operates and if I had to choose a famous person to be I would choose Major Winters. He experenced everything from the front line.

I will continue this discussion later.

Ambrose is very invigorating, yet I heard he also steals ideas... What ever people say Hanks and Spielberg made a 4 star production

Ambrose doesn't actually steal the ideas. His problem is he uses his old books as citations for his new books sometimes. He does give proper credit in the original books but instead of citing the original source, he just cites his own book. He basically is skipping a step. It is a no-no but it would be wrong to say his ideas are stolen.
